Ambassador of India Visits the Institute for Recent History of Serbia

The activities of the Institute for Recent History of Serbia in cooperation with the diplomatic community in Belgrade continued with the visit of the Ambassador of the Republic of India to Serbia, H.E. Abhishek Shukla.

The Ambassador was welcomed by the Institute’s Director, Dr. Vladan Jovanović, and Dr. Jovan Čavoški, Senior Research Associate, who introduced him to the Institute’s work and its plans for developing international cooperation, including the establishment of closer ties with Indian academic institutions.

During the meeting, the launch of cooperation and academic exchange was agreed upon, to be initiated this autumn through Dr. Čavoški’s research visit to India. Ambassador Shukla expressed his full support for the Institute’s activities and his readiness to contribute to strengthening connections between Indian and Serbian institutions in the fields of social sciences and humanities.
