The Institute for Recent History of Serbia is a research institution located in Belgrade, which focuses on study of Serbian and Yugoslav history during 20th and 21st centuries. Founded over six decades ago, the Institute has a proud tradition of researching important social, political, economic, cultural and foreign political developments that have shaped Serbian/Yugoslav history. The Institute has a diverse publishing activity, ranging from academic journal Tokovi istorije, to monographs, collections of sources and edited volumes. It hosts a rich library open to public, and represents a home for conferences, round tables, lectures and discussions, which gather leading experts from Serbia and abroad.
